We stock an array of beautiful fabrics and trimmings, with mixtures of vintage and modern styles which epitomise drama, glamour and sophistication. We will help you choose the perfect wedding gown, bridesmaids and accessories and what’s more you will thoroughly enjoy the experience. We will assist you every step of the way to create the perfect look that is right for you and your attendants. We take the time to get to know our brides because that’s how we can best serve you.
You must never be in a rush when you visit L’amour because you tend to lose yourself in the warm relaxed atmosphere and time just slips away and nothing else seems to matter, as you will be having so much fun. Your family, bridesmaids and friends will always be made welcome and there is a special seating area so they are able to sit and be wowed as you try gowns on until your heart is content. At L’amour we do not believe in a closed door policy and we will never turn you away. If you call in without an appointment and we are busy, you are more than welcome to wait until a changing room becomes free.
Why not ask a member of staff about our Exclusive Late Night Friday Appointment, otherwise known as “Girls Night In”. There is no charge for this personal appointment and it is a fantastic way of bringing everyone together to thoroughly enjoy choosing and trying on all those styles of gowns you have seen and been dreaming about in your wedding magazines. You simply book in advance and, arrive at your agreed time from 5pm onwards and you are welcome to bring whom ever you want with you. Once the whole party has arrived we will lock the doors and you are granted private, exclusive use of the bridal studio until 8pm in the evening. Due to the profile of some of our clients, discretion and privacy are paramount, so we are able to lower our shutters internally whilst your party are trying on the gowns to ensure the utmost secrecy. As the bride you will be able to try on as many bridal gowns as you wish and your bridesmaids have the choice of the entire bridesmaid’s collection at their disposal. You have myself and another member of staff to see to your every need and advise you every step of the way. As our sizes range from an 8 to 34 we truly have got everything covered. You are welcome to bring a bottle or two as well as a few light snacks, as long as they are consumed on the hard wood floor area of the studio.
We are an incredibly forward thinking, creative and innovative bridal company, so not only do we stock a wonderful range of accessories such as veils, tiaras, Jewellery and so on we also create some of thee most fabulous artificial bouquets and flowers that you can hold whilst trying on your gown, allowing your ideas to become reality. It helps you to understand what styles, colour and size bouquet will best suit and compliment your chosen gown and colour theme. We also make some of the most stunning bespoke headdresses and fascinators, so if you can not see what you want on the shelf then why not have your vision made especially for you? The designers we stock truly mirror image the mood and ambiance we aim to capture within out bridal studio.
